LG 65" OLED EVO AI C6 4K Smart TV 2026

LG's C series has long been the default OLED recommendation: perfect blacks, excellent motion, and for years now four full-speed HDMI 2.1 ports for gaming. The 2026 C6 continues the line.

The best OLED TVs

OLED pixels make their own light, so black is truly black and contrast is unmatched. Best for movies, dark rooms and gaming. The trade-off is brightness in very bright rooms, and price.

The best Mini LED TVs

Mini LED TVs use thousands of tiny backlights that dim zone by zone. They get much brighter than OLED, which suits bright Australian living rooms, and big sizes cost far less.

The best value QLED TVs

QLED is an LCD TV with a quantum-dot layer for better colour. Without Mini LED dimming, contrast is weaker, but the prices are low and the picture is a big step up from a basic LED TV.

The cheapest TV at a given size is usually a basic LED model. Fine for a spare room; for your main TV, it's worth stepping up to one of the panels above.

What to look for

  • Size: for 4K, sit roughly 1 to 1.5 times the screen's diagonal away. Most people who upgrade wish they'd gone bigger.
  • Gaming: look for HDMI 2.1 with 4K at 120Hz, VRR and ALLM, especially for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
  • Brightness: in a sunny room, Mini LED beats OLED. In a dark room, OLED wins.
  • Model year: the last digits or letters of the model code show the year. Last year's model at a clearance price is often the best deal.

Where to buy

Which store is cheapest for TVs changes daily. Our where to buy a TV guide counts it, and every TV is on the TVs page with each store's price.

How we work: every price in this guide is today's lowest in-stock price across the Australian stores we check, refreshed every morning, and the tables recalculate with it. Nobody pays to be included or to rank higher. Specs come from the stores' and makers' own listings. How Compare Empire works
