LEGO is one of the easiest things to compare, and one of the most worth it: every box carries a five-digit set number, every store prints it, and Australian toy stores price the same set very differently. We match each set by that number alone, so a Technic 42171 at one store is the Technic 42171 at the next. Prices below update every morning.

How to pay less for LEGO

  • Search by set number. Typing "75447" finds the exact set; typing the name finds look-alikes and older versions.
  • The recommended price is a ceiling. Toy stores often run 20–40% off popular sets, and the biggest drops come around Black Friday, the toy sales in July and after Christmas.
  • Buy before a set retires. Sets usually leave shelves after two or three years, and retired sets climb in price. If a set you want has been out a while, the next sale may be its last.
  • Check eBay for sealed sets. We show new, Buy It Now listings from Australian sellers only, with postage included, so the price you see is the price you pay.
